Reds outfielder Scott Schebler is having an eventful week.

The main playing-time beneficiary of the Jay Bruce trade, Schebler responded to a teammate criticizing the deal -- and, implicitly, his ability to replace Bruce -- by hitting the game-winning home-run on Tuesday. He didn't stop there, however.

On Wednesday, Schebler again asserted himself -- this time by robbing someone else of a home run. That someone else was Jedd Gyorko. Check it out:

Schebler has a ways to go before he can be labeled a legitimate Bruce heir. Still, his left-handed thump is impressive, and he's heretofore doing his best to make the most of this opportunity. That's about all Reds fans can ask for right now.
